Beginning Hand Sewing Class

Want to be handy with needle and thread? Join this class and learn how to attach thread to fabric, baste pieces together, sew a running seam stitch, overhand stitch and attach a button. We will be making a small felt bag with a button fastener during this class.

Needles, thread and fabric provided.

Note:  This class is a suggested prerequisite for other our other sewing classes

About Your Instructor:  Alicia Renata is the founder and owner of Bodacious Countess.  She is a is a multi-talented fabric and jewelry artist who creates clothing, jewelry and leather wearables for everyday fantasy, performance art, festivals and cosplay. She enjoys sewing, crochet, and jewelry creation as well as riding her motorcycle.
