Fused Glass: Seascape Workshop

Come and make a beautiful glass seascape. Learn to build a fused glass seascape with frit, stringers and pre-made glass sea life. You will be able to make fish, seaweed and other sealife out of frit using a  binder product called glass modeling bird. So come and have fun building a beautiful seascape of your own design!  

You'll use powdered glass, stringers , modeling glass, and a 5 1/2 by 10 piece of glass that will be your canvas to create your seascape. Come and enjoy and learn to create.

Your creation will be fired off-site and you'll need to return to The Shop to pick it up.

Note:  Please cover up – no shorts or sandals!

About Your Instructor:  Kay Lenard is a glass artist of 5 years who fell in love with paintings on cathedral windows has loved learning all about glass since then.   She has taught classes at Burritt on the Mountain and participated in numerous art shows.
