Introduction to Woodworking: Build Your Own Step Stool

Ready to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with woodworking? In this beginner-friendly class, you'll learn the fundamentals of working with wood while building a sturdy, stylish step stool you can take home and use with pride.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to safely use essential woodworking tools (saws, drills, sanders, clamps)
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood with precision
  • Basic joinery techniques and finishing methods
  • Tips for staining and sealing or painting your project.  We won't be applying any finish at The Shop.

What You’ll Make: A classic wooden step stool—perfect for reaching high shelves, helping little ones brush their teeth, or just showing off your craftsmanship.

Who It’s For: No experience? No problem. This class is designed for total beginners or anyone looking to brush up on their skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Leave With: A finished step stool, new skills, and the confidence to tackle your next DIY project.

So, if you’re ready to step up your woodworking skills, sign up today!
