Glass: stained glass Autumn Panel (Intermediate Level)
Create a richly textured autumn‑themed stained glass panel using layered construction techniques and a clean, professional zinc‑came border. This intermediate class is designed for students who are comfortable with cutting, foiling, and soldering, and who want to expand their skills with multi‑layer assembly and depth‑building methods.
Students will work with a warm seasonal palette—glass choices will be available including ambers, reds, golds, and textured clears—to build a panel that features overlapping elements for dimensional effect. Instruction covers pattern layout, strategic layering, reinforcement considerations, and clean solder lines when working across multiple planes. The finished piece is edged in zinc came for strength, stability, and a crisp framed appearance.
